Verodin Names Chief Revenue Officer Robert Potter

In our August 15th, 2017 press release, we announced that Rob Potter joined Verodin as our Chief Revenue Officer. Rob was most recently the Vice president of Sales at Symantec.

For a company like Verodin that is already in high gear, adding a CRO like Rob is nothing less than a Nitrous boost. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on Team Verodin.

I’ve had the pleasure of really getting to know Rob over the past few weeks. His deep understanding of global markets, the channel and most critically his customer-focused posture will continue to help us ensure that we are delivering world-class solutions to our customers.

It speaks volumes that someone with such a distinguished career in the security industry as Rob picked Verodin amongst all the security companies and opportunities afforded to him. Rob was asked why he joined Verodin and this is what he had to say.

“In my role at Symantec, CISOs identified the number one business challenge for the enterprise as the inability to measure the efficacy of the products in the security stack and the absence of controls assurance. I believe Verodin SIP will become the most-leveraged capability in any enterprise technology stack. I am excited to join the team and contribute to Verodin’s continued success. I look forward to expanding our channel relationships and leveraging our partners to accelerate our growth globally.”

Even Verodin’s partner, Optiv, commented on Rob joining Verodin. This is what Optiv Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales Dave Castignola had to say.

“Optiv’s partnerships with industry leading and cutting-edge technology providers like Verodin play a critical part in our holistic approach to solving today’s cybersecurity challenges. Rob Potter has an outstanding reputation and track record in the security industry, and Optiv looks forward to working with him and the Verodin team.”

And finally, Arthur Coviello, retired Executive Chairman of RSA stated, “I think very highly of Rob as a leader, and he has exceptional knowledge of the security industry. The ability of Verodin to attract a talented executive like Rob Potter to the team speaks volumes to the need for Verodin’s technology in the marketplace and the potential of the company. Verodin should be on everyone’s radar.”

Welcome aboard Rob and buckle up, the ride only gets faster from here!
